I live in Auckland, New Zealand.

I studied Software Engineering at the University of Auckland from 2021 to 2024. In 2023, I spent a semester studying AI and Machine Learning at Pennsylvania State University.

I currently work as a Software Engineer at Orchestral, where we are building a population-scale health data platform.

My work spans software engineering, data engineering and cloud infrastructure giving me the opportunity to contribute across the full development lifecycle.

Started working at Orchestral.

  • Worked across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation through deployment and production support.
  • Extended AWS and Kubernetes-based microservices and infrastructure.
  • Built a customer-facing ingress API in Python and FastAPI with JWT authentication, authorization, Kafka routing, and S3-backed payload handling.

Joined Orion Health as a software engineer intern.

  • Built and maintained event-driven microservices using Spring Boot, Python, Kafka, and integration patterns.
  • Developed an error and warning repository integrated with customer environments.

Graduated from the University of Auckland.

  • Completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Software Engineering with First Class Honours.
  • Built strong foundations across systems, web, and data engineering, alongside a research project focused on property intelligence and natural language processing.

Spent a semester at Pennsylvania State University.

  • Studied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as part of an exchange semester, deepening my understanding of applied machine learning and intelligent systems.

Worked as a QA engineer intern at Unleashed Software.

  • Built and maintained end-to-end automated test suites in Gherkin and Selenium.
  • Worked closely with product owners, developers, and QA in an Agile environment.

Joined the Web Development & Consulting Club.

  • Organized events for more than 1,000 club members while serving on the executive team.
  • Contributed to a team building a website for the Devonport-Takapuna Local Youth Board.
